ZERO ORIGIN (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") sets forth this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") with respect to the handling of users' personal information in the mobile application "Werewolf Cloister / 人狼回廊" (the "App") and shall comply with it.
Information We Collect
In the course of providing the App, we may collect the following information.
- Voice data: the user's spoken voice during in-game discussion, transmitted to our servers for voice recognition processing.
- Text data: in-game utterances, configuration choices, the body of inquiry messages, and similar text.
- Device information: OS type and version, device identifiers (including advertising identifiers), language settings, time zone, and IP address.
- Gameplay information: composition of joined games (player count and roles), outcome, duration, coin balance, and purchase history.
- Billing information: history of coin pack purchases via Apple App Store (we do not retain credit card numbers or other payment instrument details).
- Crash and diagnostic information: technical logs transmitted automatically when the App terminates abnormally.
Purposes of Use
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes.
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- To deliver game features such as voice recognition, voice synthesis, and dialogue generation.
- To detect and respond to misuse, defects, and security incidents.
- To respond to inquiries and support requests from users.
- To analyze usage statistically (in a form that does not identify individuals).
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Handling of Voice Data
When the user permits microphone input during play, we transmit that voice to third-party APIs (described below) for the purpose of voice recognition (conversion of voice into text).
Voice data is processed only for the period necessary to carry out the game session and, in principle, is not retained on our servers for any extended period. It is deleted within a fixed period (up to 30 days) after the game ends (excluding temporary retention for the purpose of fault analysis).
Disclosure to Third Parties and External Services
To deliver the App's features we use the following external services. Each provider handles information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- LiveKit, Inc. (real-time voice communication infrastructure)
- Google LLC (Gemini API: language model / Cloud Text-to-Speech: voice synthesis / Cloud Speech-to-Text: voice recognition / AdMob: ad delivery)
- Apple Inc. (App Store: in-app purchase settlement)
Beyond the above, we provide personal information to third parties only when required by law or when prior consent has been obtained from the user.
Advertising
The App may display rewarded video ads for the purpose of granting stars for free play. To deliver advertising, information such as advertising identifiers (IDFA / AAID) may be transmitted to advertising providers via Google AdMob.
Users can limit personalized advertising or reset advertising identifiers through the settings of their device.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The App itself does not use cookies; however, external services embedded in the App (such as ad networks) may use their own identifiers or tracking technologies.
Storage and Security
Information collected is stored under reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Communication is generally encrypted via TLS, and stored data is placed under access control. We cannot, however, guarantee absolute safety in transmission of information over the Internet.
Retention Period
Each item of information is retained only for the period necessary to achieve its purpose of use, and is promptly deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Information whose retention is required by law is excepted.
User Rights
Users may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their own personal information that we hold. Requests should be sent to the contact at the end of this Policy; we will respond within a reasonable period after verifying identity.
Use by Minors
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 13 should use the App with the consent of a guardian. We do not actively collect personal information of users under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Policy as necessary due to changes in laws, changes in service, or otherwise. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on this website.
